At the moment, I don't have a lot of time to write posts, or design and develop my blog. I'm much too busy with client work at the moment. I am in the process of slowing down on the accepting of new client projects as I learn to say no. That's always been tough for me to do, say "no".
I am happy that I can take a few moments here and there to make small and improvements. Today I made a few changes to the design, namely added the hardwood background (it used to be plain white) and put the content area over and RGB color value of white with an alpha transparency so that the 'Druplicon' shows through. I like it a lot better than the previous look.
Regarding the background, I cannot remember who designed it. I remember someone tweeting about it. I liked it and asked if I could use it as my Twitter background. I still like it, so I'm using it again here. I wish I remember who created it so I can give due credit. If it was you, please remind me! I'm terribly sorry I forgot who it was. I may have been very sleepy at the time.
One thing I want to use this blog for is to showcase some of my music. Here's a really quick clip of me playing the solo from 'Whole Lotta Love' by Led Zeppelin. More to come soon.

Looks good! And chug that
Looks good! And chug that Kool-aid! Seriously, it's always nice to see a Drupal site that doesn't look like a Drupal site.
As for the background, I'm guessing you got it from Darrin Rich's Flickr.
Darrin says he added the Drupal logo to this wood-with-lights background created by "zyklophon" on DeviantArt.
Zyklophon in turn added the lights to a texture broadly credited to one Henri Liriani.
However, in this thread, Henri says:
I didn't make the pattern ppl its a damn picture!
A moderator explains: Mod edit after explanation: Henri took the photo and digitally manipulated it in Photoshop so it was more suitable for websites and wallpapers.
And thus ends our saga. Also, Henri Liriani does have some very nice icons on his website.
Thanks Catherine! I guess
Thanks Catherine! I guess there's a few people that deserve attribution for the background image. It's great to finally know the full story behind it.
As I write this, I'm reminded to install the comment notify module. You probably won't even know I replied.
